Choosing a Major

Remember: It's completely normal and common to be undecided! Also, remember that majors don't always need to correspond with your intended profession after college. For example, you do not need to major in political science to apply to law school and become a lawyer. You do not need to major in biology to apply to medical school and become a doctor. Instead, an advisor will guide you in taking courses that will help prepare you for med school. It's less flexible for careers like teaching, nursing, and engineering. If you want to be a nurse, you must study nursing. If you want to be an engineer, you must study engineering. If you're unsure, go undecided!
